Our PurposeThe purpose of Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry (CPWM) is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We seek to do this as we pray, study God's Word, and reach out to others through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship opportunities. This goal is accomplished through a diversity of ministries.
Our theme this year is “Revive Us Again” based on Psalm 85:6. We are reminded of the hymn; “revive us again fill each heart with thy love, and may each soul be rekindled with fire from above.” God’s word, prayer, worship, and fellowship can help us to revive. In this way, we begin to spread the joyful news of Christ our Savior. (CPWM 2022) |
Our local CPWM meets on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 for lunch (bring your own sandwich), business, and a devotional program.
Most meetings are held in Morelock Hall.
