Women's Ministry

Here am I. Send me. - Isaiah 6:8

Wives of former pastors gather in 1937 to celebrate our congregation's 100th anniversary.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry (CPWM) is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We seek to do this as we pray, study God's Word, and reach out to others through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship opportunities. This goal is accomplished through a diversity of ministries.

Our theme this year is “This is OUR Story” based on Psalm 107:2a. "Go! Share the story of Cumberland Presbyterian Women! Share THE story!"~Rev. Rebecca Zahrte, Director of Women's Ministry (CPWM 2023)
Our local CPWM meets on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 for lunch (bring your own sandwich), business, and a devotional program.
Most meetings are held in Morelock Hall.

2023-2024 for CPWM Women’s Ministry Projects and Offerings:
*Stott-Wallace Missionary Fund: This fund supports the salaries and benefits of CP missionaries serving outside the United States. Cumberland Presbyterian Women have a long history of supporting missionaries and the missionary effort.

Last year’s recipients were:
